From endless protests that go no where, infighting and planeries that never needed to happen – there are skills, frameworks and ideas on how we can be better organizers. There are many strategies when it comes to building power, facilitating meetings, strategizing our theories of change or managing money. But most organizers never learn this kind of practical political education

Whether you don’t know where to start or want to break out of ineffective forms of organizing, Architectures of Change will provide you with the practical and conceptual tools necessary to build effective political organizations.

Who is this course for?

Anyone who is interested in political organizing. Our former participants have been people who have an interest in politics but have never applied it, or come from a wide range of movements: Anti big tech, workers’ rights, the Palestine solidarity movement, alternative economics, climate & beyond.

Who is it taught by?

Simone Robutti – Simone is an organizational developer and educator from Italy. Coming from a STEM background, he eventually moved into more organizational and political roles which he has a decade of experience in. His main political experience is within Tech Workers Coalition, a worker-run International organization building worker power in the tech sector. He’s also currently active in Reversing.works, a technical investigation group revealing evidence of illicit worker surveillance through mobile app analysis, and Cables of Resistance, a major German anti-big-tech conference. He is based in Berlin.

Miho Soon – Miho is a researcher, facilitator, designer and coach from Malaysia. Her work focuses on political perspectives towards the human relationship with money and work. She has brought together hundreds of students, activists and organisations across Europe and Asia to talk about how personal experiences connect to a systemic context around capitalism. She has been active across degrowth, migrant justice, Palestine solidarity and tech movement spaces. She is the host of the documentary podcast Money Trauma, and an affiliate fellow of The Post Growth Institute. She’s currently based in Berlin.
