Western Sahara, considered the last colony in Africa, has been pending decolonization for more than 45 years.

A large part of this territory is illegally occupied by Morocco, which commits continuous violations against the Saharawi population, exploits the natural resources of the territory and has built a 2,700 km wall to separate the Saharawi people.

With half of the population living in refugee camps and the other half under Moroccan occupation, the Saharawi people have been struggling for four decades for their right to exist on their legitimate land.

The process of decolonization, the exploitation of natural resources, the role of the European Union and that of Germany in this conflict will be the themes of this talk, given by representatives of the Polisario Front, the liberation movement representing the Saharawi people.

El Sáhara Occidental, considerado la última colonia en África, lleva más de 45 años pendiente de descolonización.

Gran parte de este territorio está ocupado de forma ilegal por Marruecos, quien comete violaciones continuas contra la población saharaui, explota los recursos naturales del territorio y ha construido un muro de 2.700 km para separar al pueblo saharaui.

Con la mitad de población viviendo en campamentos de refugiados y la otra mitad bajo la ocupación marroquí, el pueblo saharaui lleva cuatro décadas luchando por su derecho a existir sobre su tierra legítima.

El proceso de descolonización, la explotación de recursos naturales, el papel de la Unión Europea y el de Alemania en este conflicto serán los temas que se tratarán en esta charla, impartida por altos cargos del Frente Polisario, movimiento de liberación que representa al pueblo saharaui.

Die Westsahara, die als letzte Kolonie Afrikas bezeichnet wird, wartet seit mehr als 45 Jahren auf ihre Entkolonialisierung.

Ein großer Teil des Gebiets ist unrechtmäßig von Marokko besetzt, das die saharauische Bevölkerung ständig misshandelt, die natürlichen Ressourcen des Gebiets ausbeutet und eine 2.700 km lange Mauer zur Trennung der saharauischen Bevölkerung errichtet hat.

Das saharauische Volk, das zur Hälfte in Flüchtlingslagern und zur anderen Hälfte unter marokkanischer Besatzung lebt, kämpft seit vier Jahrzehnten für sein Recht, auf dem ihm zustehenden Land zu leben.

Der Prozess der Entkolonialisierung, die Ausbeutung der natürlichen Ressourcen, die Rolle der Europäischen Union und Deutschlands in diesem Konflikt sind die Themen der Veranstaltung, die von führenden Mitgliedern der Polisario-Front, der Befreiungsbewegung des saharauischen Volkes, durchgeführt wird
