Widersetzen aims to stop the AfD’s party conference, scheduled for July 4 and 5, 2026, in Erfurt. The AfD is a fascist party planning mass deportations and other crimes. It is dangerous and must be stopped. Its party conference is an illegitimate gathering where it is preparing to seize power. Civil disobedience is therefore justified and necessary.
On July 4, various rallies, demonstrations, and acts of civil disobedience will take place in Erfurt. Starting early in the morning, we will gather around the exhibition hall in Erfurt where the AfD party conference is set to be held.
We will gather in thousands in front of the entrances and access roads to Messe Erfurt and will not voluntarily make way. We will remain there until we collectively decide to end our action. We are creative, open, and welcoming to the people of Erfurt. We will not initiate any escalation. Fire and emergency services will be allowed to pass through at all times. We treat one another with solidarity, look out for each other, and offer mutual support. All participants, together with their affinity groups, determine their own personal boundaries.
During the gatherings on the access routes, we will either stand or sit, depending on the situation. We will stand in solid rows—supported by long banners—to prevent anyone from getting through to the AfD event. In doing so, we ensure that calm, level-headed individuals who feel up to the task take the front positions. We will position those who require extra protection for various reasons in our midst.
If you are on one of the access routes, stay there. Kindly invite others to sit or stand with you. If we are numerous, stick together, and treat each other with care, we will succeed.
